The much-awaited Hogwarts Legacy has experienced another setback, with its Nintendo Switch release being pushed back from July 25 to November 14. The company prioritizes delivering the best possible gaming experience for its fans and expressed gratitude for their patience.
After releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC two weeks ago, the open-world action role-playing game has already generated over $850 million in revenue. In addition, the game has crossed $1 billion in retail sales following its launch on May 5 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s CEO of global streaming and games, JB Perrette, emphasized the importance of the PS4 and Xbox One release while expressing high expectations for the Switch version. The Nintendo Switch’s widespread popularity, coupled with the global appeal of the Harry Potter franchise, could lead to a larger player base and greater impact.
Avalanche Software recently released a significant update for Hogwarts Legacy, featuring an “Arachnophobia Mode” and more than 500 game fixes to enhance the gaming experience.
